When you can’t find a new home that checks all your boxes, the solution is simple: remodel the one you love. This family knows the value of a well-executed renovation, having previously collaborated with Scholl Construction to upgrade their bathrooms and add a three-season room. Faced with a housing market that didn’t meet their needs, they turned to Scholl Construction once again, this time to transform their existing living space into their forever home.
Their extensive remodel encompassed the entire first floor, starting with a brand-new kitchen featuring a functional island perfect for cooking and entertaining. The living area received an elegant update with a refreshed fireplace and a stunning tile feature that ascends the two-story wall, instantly elevating the space’s aesthetic. To complete this modern makeover, wide-planked oak flooring stained in light gray was installed throughout, providing a seamless flow from room to room.
The transformation didn’t stop there; upstairs saw an overhaul as well. All trim and flooring were replaced, while the entire railing system—including banisters, vertical posts, stairs, and handrails—was upgraded to complement the new oak flooring. The sleek black metal vertical posts contribute to a modern aesthetic that perfectly complements the home’s refreshed look.
