Commercial Rejuvenation
The commercial renovation project undertaken by a research development and manufacturing company involved the transformation of a used warehouse building into a multifunctional space. Scholl Construction was tasked with completely remodeling the interior to breathe new life into the old structure that previously housed a book distribution warehouse.
Commercial Building Remodel
To begin, the entire space was gutted down to the outer walls and interior supports, allowing for a fresh start in designing and constructing various rooms. A key focus of the project was on establishing an efficient ventilation system to maintain cleanliness in the laboratory environment, ensuring optimal working conditions.
Noteworthy features of the revamped space include office areas, conference rooms, manufacturing zones, a test laboratory, warehouse facilities, shipping areas, break rooms, and bathrooms. The impressive floating design in the spacious front lobby serves as a welcoming focal point for visitors, custom-built by Scholl Construction to add a touch of sophistication to the entrance.
With 15,000 square feet of space boasting high ceilings and distinct sections for different functions such as manufacturing, testing, storage, and shipping – this revitalized workspace offers not only immediate utility but also ample room for future expansion and growth opportunities.
UPDATE… In 2023, this client called Scholl Construction to help with the addition of a 19′ x 29′ tape winding room near the warehouse area. This new space serves as a dedicated area for winding tape before they are dispatched to customers or other facilities.
