I want to remodel my kitchen while I’m living in the house. Can you do that?

Yes, we do a lot of remodeling. Most of our remodeling is extensive remodeling. This year it’s 2022, we’re doing a lot of first floor remodels, a lot of deck decks, a lot of sunrooms. From the time I start demolition to the time you’re back into your kitchen is about eight weeks. The difference now from previous times, post pandemic, is that we need to plan far ahead because cabinets take a long-time, countertops take a long time, appliances take a long time. If you have a small family and you’re planning on staying in the house, what I’d suggest is that we start working right away on the design and get the layout of the new kitchen. And then we get the cabinets ordered right away since they’re the longest lead time. Then we work on appliances and everything else. Once we find the item with the longest lead time, we’ll work the schedule backwards so that once we start demolition, the remodel will disrupt your life as little as possible.
