Inspired by Art, Crafted for Everyday Living – Bathroom Remodel
It all started with a single, beautiful platter, handcrafted by a local potter in Door County. For the homeowner, a skilled ceramist herself, pottery is more than a hobby, it’s inspiration. That unique piece sparked the bold design vision that now defines their master suite and hall bathroom remodel.
This was not the homeowners’ first project with Scholl Construction. In 2011, they partnered with Scholl for a mother-in-law addition and a first-floor remodel. Years later, it was time to reimagine the upstairs bathrooms.
Master Bathroom
The original master bath featured a whirlpool tub framed by a large window. That window was removed, sealed inside and out, and finished to match the existing side. In its place now stands a spacious walk-in shower with a generous bench and multiple shower heads. The remodel also introduced new storage solutions and a private toilet area, elevating both function and comfort.
Hall Bathroom
The hall bathroom didn’t get left behind. While the classic tub was left, every other detail is fresh: new cabinets, counters, and tile work that directly echoes the colors and textures of that memorable platter. The result? A bold but livable bathroom remodel that creates a cohesive look that ties art and living space together beautifully.
