When they decided to build their home they went to a family member, who was an architect, to draw up plans that reminded them of their favorite vacation spot. Scholl Construction built this home on a wooded lot in McHenry, Illinois.
The home features a 2 story family room with a reading loft and beautiful wood ceiling, open concept living, 2 bedrooms with one being a master suite with zero threshold shower. The home was built on a slab instead of a full basement or crawl space to save on cost. A large screened in porch is a quiet place to let nature in.
