Three Bathrooms Remodeled to Complete a Whole House Upgrade
The final piece of this whole house remodel was completing the 3 bathrooms. This included redesigning and updating the bathrooms from the 1980s into a more usable space.
The Primary Bathroom
The dated 1980s master bathroom was turned into a shower/tub wet room. The toilet was move to the opposite side of the room and enclosed in a room by itself. This created a larger area in the wet room for the shower. The old whirlpool tub was removed and a modern tub put in its place with striking green subway tile and a large stain glass window. The existing floor joists were reinforced to handle the additional weight of the shower and larger tub. The addition of the unique marble tile with its geometric design creates a modern classical look with eclectic design elements.
The First Floor Bathroom
The original linen closet that was next to the bathroom was used to expand the bathroom to create a more usable space with a larger shower area. Marble geometric tile used in this bathroom makes a bold statement.
The Second Floor bathroom
As with the other two bathrooms, this bathroom was redesigned to create more usable space. A pedestal sink was removed and that area converted into a cabinet with countertop, floating shelves and linen storage area. A new sink and vanity was installed on the opposite wall. The tub was removed and a large custom shower was installed.
